Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) is a payment method that allows you to make purchases and pay for them later in installment payments, rather than upfront.

BNPL works by allowing you to split your purchase into smaller, interest-free payments over time.

Yes, BNPL can be safe to use if you manage your payments responsibly.

Benefits of BNPL include flexibility in payment, interest-free options, and the ability to afford purchases without immediate payment. 

No, it is interest-free, although late fees or penalties for missed payments is applicable. 10% of balance left is charged as late fee for a defaulting buyer(s) 

    1. Attainment of 18 years of age or older..
    2. Ability to enter into a legally binding contract.

    4. Provision of a valid delivery address within Nigeria.
    5. Residency or employment at an electronically verifiable address
    6. Possession of a valid and verifiable email address and mobile telephone number.
    7. Registration and electronic verification of any of the following:
  • National Identification Card displaying the National Identification Number (NIN) of the holder.
  • Bank Verification Number (BVN).
  • Authorization as a holder of an eligible Naira debit/MasterCard or another valid payment card, with the authority to utilize the provided payment method.
  • Consent to the addition of payment card details to the account for payment automation.

    2. Verify your address by giving RETILDA location access on your device.
    3. Confirm that you have read our terms and conditions.
    4. Verify your email address.
    5. Have an ATM card connected to an account that has funds not less than 5,000 Naira

Missing a payment with BNPL can result in late fees penalties.

You can cancel your payment plan before delivery of the item(s) and not after the item(s) has been delivered. However you will be charged 20% of the total sum you have paid.

    1. In cases of financial hardship, kindly contact us.
    2. Retillda gives a 7 days payment grace period. A default charge of  or 10% monthly on the amount due applies after the grace period has elapsed
    3. Buyers must return any delivered items for which payment has been missed to Retilda Property Enterprise to prevent incurring late payment charges. Once the overdue payment is settled within one month, the item will be shipped back to the customer. If payment is not received within this timeframe, the items will be sold at their depreciated value, and any surplus funds, after deducting outstanding payments and fees, will be refunded to the customer.

No, there are no hidden fees. Kindly note for a defaulting customer(s) there are late charges fees.

We use your BVN to verify your identity in order to protect your Retilda account against fraud and impersonation. Your BVN is safe as your BVN does not provide us access to your bank account.

You are entitled to the delivery of your product in ten (10) working days from the midpoint of the duration of the good’s worth if and only when

  • 60% payment for the product has been made
  • The payment was made according to the duration stipulated for the worth of item being purchased and no default in payment whatsoever
  • For example;

On a 2 months plan, the delivery is processed on the first month,

On a 3 months plan, the delivery is processed in the middle of the second month,

On a 4 months plan, the delivery is processed in the of the second month,

On a 5 months plan, the delivery is processed in the middle of the third month

On a 12 months plan, the delivery is processed on the 6th month.

If the ordered item(s) becomes unavailable by the midpoint of the selected installment plan, where at least 60% of the sales price has been paid, you will be asked to select alternative item(s) from a list within the same range or category available on the Retilda Catalogue. Alternatively, you may opt to wait for a certain period during which Retilda will make reasonable efforts to obtain the ordered item(s) for delivery, adhering to Retilda’s delivery policies.

The price payable on Item(s) purchased on Installment Plan shall be the current price of the Item(s) as listed on the Retilda’s Catalogue as at the midpoint of the installment plan duration when delivery is being processed and not as at the date you made the order.

The installment plan allows a buyer to pay for an item for a specified period depending on the worth of the product.

Specified Period for Payment

Goods worth 6k – 15k 1 month

Goods worth 16k – 30k 2 months

Goods worth 31k – 60k 3 months

Goods worth 61k – 100k 4 months

Goods worth 101k – 150k 5 months

Goods worth 151k – 250k 6 months

Goods worth 251k – 400k 8 months

Good worth 401k – 600k 10 months

Goods worth 601k – 1M – 1 year

A customer can decide to pay weekly or monthly. A customer is expected to make 60% payment at the midpoint of the duration of the product’s worth.
